Okay, I made the appointment for Isy to have her laser surgery AND to see her pediatric neurologist at Mayo Clinic, right? The first appt was in the early am, then a blood test at 11:00 am, and then her appt with her neurologist at 2:45.
Guess what?
I get there and the person who made the appts was NEW! She didn't even have a laser treatment scheduled. It was an appt with the dermatologist. NOT a laser treatment. Was I ever mad!!
A volunteer driver drove us up there at 6 am. We had to stay there ALL day just for her to see the neurologist!
BTW, the appt with the neurologist went pretty good. She tested her different levels in her blood, and everythings looking great. However her Carbatrol level is a little low. So she upped Isy's medicine to 300 mg a day. It was 200 mg a day. She dropped off alittle on h er growth, but she's not too concerned yet. I told her that I had Birth to Three working with her, and she praised me for it.
She wants to see us in 6 months.
She also wants her started on a every other day regimen of baby aspirins, because she said that her platelets were a little high.
